It's been some time since the last update and, as expected, a lot has happened! Jacob continues his tour of the United States...when he was just 8 months old, he had already been to/through 8 different states! That includes two road trips and a couple of airplane flights already. The pace has slowed as he hasn't visited a new state since, but that doens't mean his travels have slowed. Many trips have been taken throughout the year and many more are planned. So far he's been to Illinois, California, Nevada, and Montana...he'll be repeating some of those trips in the coming months as well as visiting some new places such as New York, Hawaii, and perhaps Washington.

Now that the little guy is over 10 months old, we've gotten into a pretty good rhythm. Erin has been taking him to a wonderful place called My Gym where they get to interact with other parents and their kids. He's had numerous visits to doctors and the such...most recently to have his recently worked on leg/foot checked out. Pictures coming soon.

LIVE UPDATE! Just as I was updating this page, Erin just told me that Jacob has apparently learned how to pull him up to a standing position with his cast on! While he sort of was pulling himself up back in July, he hadn't successfully done it since he had his surgery, so it's an exciting moment!

Okay, back to "About Us"...not much more to say. We had a nice housewarming party and then shortly after had a sprinkler system installed in our yard - it's amazing how nice it looks now. Too bad winter is just around the corner. We also tried our hand at a modest vegetable garden, successfully growing Romaine Lettuce, Green Beans (lots of 'em!), and Sweet Corn. We also have Watermelon coming in (only 1 decent sized one it looks) but it probably won't be done by the time winter hits us....it was a fun experience to prime us for a full growing season next year!

Oh yeah, we also had visits from most of our friends in Washington back in April - even though their trips were short, we really enjoyed the time with our friends! Hopefully others can find time to make it to Colorado too! Well I guess that's it...I'll try to update this page within a few months!
