So just over half a year has passed since the last update to this page...I think that's a little better than usual ;) Our world still revolves around Jacob of course and he continues to learn how to be a world-wide traveller. He's up to 10 states now (at 17 months) having added a visit to Washington in February and Hawaii just earlier this month (pics under the Vacation Pics tab above). We also have made repeat visits to Montana (for Thanksgiving last year) and San Diego (for Christmas). 6 total roundtrip flights (including one with connections), 2 roadtrips to Montana and back, and 1 roadtrip to San Diego and back. The cross-country train trip to New York is planned for this summer still. He started walking in January and of course hasn't looked back since. He's starting to enjoy his My Gym classes more and more, plus we try to take him swimming at the rec center at least once every other week or so. He's really into repeating things that dada does including attempts at real words...full on speaking should be just around the corner!

The real big news we discovered a few months ago is that Erin is now pregnant with Bielkiewicz Baby #2, due September 13th! We don't know the sex of the baby yet, but after some discussion have decided to find out - we should know next week whether or not we'll have re-decorate the baby room or if we can economize and just put in bunk beds ;) After some early nausea that Erin didn't really experience with Jacob in the womb, things have settled down and everything is normal thusfar. We'll be on a lookout for any extra digits though during our ultrasound next week :)

Big news (but probably not all that shocking anymore) is that Mike yet again has changed jobs! Travelling became a bore and at 100% did not afford enough home time. Now he's back with the Bureau of Land Management at the Fed Center in Lakewood, which is a mere 7 miles from our house! That will be extremely helpful once baby #2 arrives! And now he gets to spend time with the family every night as opposed to just 3 days a week. Also it means he can bust out "Hugo" again for commuting...after a new battery and an oil change, "Hugo" rides like a dream again...and should save us some $$$ with gas prices the way they are (around $2.79/gallon here in town as of today).

That'd be it for now! Hope everyone is enjoying life to it's fullest! We'll talk atcha later - my guess is the next update will be after baby #2 comes around in September! Adios!
