T H E   B I E L K I E W I C Z   F A M I L Y !

It's been about 8 months now since I last updated this page, so I guess we're due! Things have been a little more hectic around our household with Zack added to the fold. Just recently he began crawling, pulling himself up to a standing position, and even walking along tables while holding on. He loves to get into everything and already we can see a very distinct and different personality than that of his older brother.

Zack has already been to 12 states (I think) and is actually hitting them at a faster rate than his big brother did. Jacob is up to 22 states himself. We started by driving to Rockford for Thanksgiving last year, then continued by driving to San Diego for New Years -- by way of Capitol Reef, Bryce, and Zion National Parks. We flew to Montana for a brief, mid-winter, weekend trip in February, then we drove up to the Black Hills of South Dakota just last month. Mike visited Chad in Las Vegas with his co-worker Ben on a whirlwind weekend driving trip and soon we will head back to Utah to explore Moab, Arches NP, and Canyonlands NP. The fun never ends!

This past December, Mike moved on to a new position -- this time going back to his roots sort of -- returning to Lockheed Martin where his career started 9 years earlier (See September, 1998 below).

Jacob's vocabulary continues to astound us each and every day and he's just beginning to start the concept of potty training. We've had a few successes so far in that arena, hopefully more to come! He also continues to attend many classes through our local parks and rec district. He seems to like them all - Music, Clay, Art, Gym, Swimming...he's even ice skated a couple of times with dad at the local ice rink!

The rest of the summer will be full of adventures as we continue travelling -- we'll be back to Montana of course and we also have a week-plus trip planned to New York for Mike's cousin's wedding, combined with 4 nights at Niagara Falls. Next update will likely be in the fall! Take care everyone!
